Northwest Missouri Whitetail Hunts

About

In 1997 we decided to sell whitetail hunts in our preserve. Trying to concentrate on quality and not quantity was our main goal. We wanted to provide a hunt that was exciting and provided many opportunities to harvest a mature buck. Since then we still have the same goals, but we have set the bar higher. We want to provide the hunter an opportunity to see and harvest bucks that were absolute monsters. I believe that we are well on our way to realizing that goal and through proper management, we can achieve it.

Another aspect that we have added to East Fork Ranch is that of greater genetic potential. Our breeding program has given us the ability to release superior genetic does into our herd so that we can provide many types of bucks to our hunters. Originally we wanted to provide hunters with the ability to shoot big typical bucks. After many requests for non-typicals, we have since been adjusting our herd to include more points and mass. This in turn increases our scores and provides the element of character to our bucks.

In 2008, we decided to start selling free range hunts.  Six miles to the west of East Fork is our free range hunting land.  We own 5,000 acres of prime whitetail habitat.  Hunts are unguided and conducted out of our lodge, which was constructed in 2007. Check out our lodge page to see what all it offers.

Here at East Fork, our goal is provide a first class hunt whether it is free range or in our preserve.  We are proud of the fact that it is a family run business that thrives on repeat customers.  We are here for the customer and to provide them with a quality experience.
